workstation shots

I've been working on a school assignment, which is what this screen will be used for. Just stopping to show off the seat cover I made for my computer chair with this print! I thought the motif was suiting (and this chair was disintegrating beneath my ass so it was about time I recovered it).
Thank you, camera flash, for highlighting all the dust in my room.

pooop

School has been wearing me out lately, the classes I'm in just seem like an unnecessary weight on my life. I'm not learning or doing much to benefit myself at this point, what a bore. I don't think spending more time in school after spending my whole life in school is helping my confidence at all, and if there's one thing I'm trying to learn to do with my art, it's to present it and myself with confidence. I also need to work back some of the money I saved that I've slowly been eating through. All I can think of recently is what I'd rather be doing with my time, money and energy.

Having said all that, I have no other comment for this picture. It was a cityscape assignment :I

weak stomach

These are thumbnails for a bigger comic, I'm trying to plan my shit better since it's always messy the first time around. I'm also working more on Edgar's story, and this is a glimpse of his childhood.

printed tees

I've been playing around with screen printing more and rounded up some subjects from a thrift store. I even made my own screen out of an old picture frame and some granny blouse I found. That's the spiral print, which came out pretty well for such a makeshift experiment.

Anyway, here's what I've made. I need a better source of unisex/dude's shirts, but most of these fit girly (sorry!) All of these are for sale, the hoodie (It's smallish) for $16 and the tees for $12 each. I'll take paypal for these.

baby goats!

This is not an art post, but I thought I'd share some adorable photos I took yesterday. A friend invited me and my sis to a relative's farm where they breed pygmy goats. It was an amazing place, a family farm with so many animals and a few new babies!

Billies, two timid alpacas, a mom and her babies

These were the youngest ones, they were hopping around and trying out their legs

this one liked to give kisses

these people had at least three pieces of taxidermy in every room, I swear. It was sort of funny how excited even their twelve-year-old daughter was about shooting things. She went
out in the snow in her socks to shoot at magpies with a nerf gun when we were over.

There was a puppy, too.
I didn't know how friendly goats could be, but the ones who were born and raised on the farm were so well socialized they would come up and rub against you like a dog. They were so sweet, I wish I could have a pet goat!
